Dealing With Depression

We all suffer from the blues on occasion, but when does depression become a serious problem?  Identifying the signs of depression is the first step to understanding why we are depressed.  Life today is difficult at best and remaining positive about our futures isn't always easy to do.  Some of us handle set backs with ease, while others of us find ourselves focusing on the negatives instead of the positives in our lives.   When the blues last for more then a few days, it's time to start looking at the reasons why you're feeling down.  Exercise is a great way to add energy to your day and to boost your mental outlook.  Take time to listen to upbeat music, to read a good book or watch an uplifting movie.  Give your mind a rest from thinking about what is wrong with your life... and a chance to relax and enjoy what's good.
