Pets And What They Bring To Our Lives...
Editor  plus50women

I can't imagine my life without an animal companion.  From my earliest beginning, our family life revolved around our pets.  We raised rabbits and horses and our dogs and cats lived inside our home with us. I still share my bed with my Border Collie and two cats.  There is no truer love in life, then the unconditional love that animals provide.  True, there are those individuals who do not care for animals, but I must say... it makes me think twice about a person who can look in to the eyes of scruffy dog and not fall instantly in love.  Personality defect?  I'll let you decide.

Reasons To Give Thanks To Our Pet Companions!

Pets Help To Lower Blood Pressure:
A recent study at the University of New York found that people with hypertension who adopted a cat or dog had  lower blood pressure readings instressful situations.   (Dr. Karen Allen, State University of  New York at Buffalo).

Pets Help To Reduce Stress:
Walking with a pet helps to sooth nerves and offers instant relaxation.  Studies conducted worldwide have shown that the impact of a stressful situation is lesser on pet owners, especially males, than on those who do not own a pet. (Joshephine M. Willis, Waitham Centre for Pet Nutrition, UK)
